The Crawl-to-Citation Method is AISEOExpert.co’s six-stage framework for SEO and AI search: Access, Understand, Trust, Retrieve, Cite and Convert. Each stage asks one question, produces a named deliverable and is measured by a metric with a stated source. It is published in full on the method page.
The six stages
- Access. Can crawlers reach and render every key page? Crawl, rendering, indexation, Core Web Vitals, crawler policy.
- Understand. Do engines know what the company is and does? Entities, structure, structured data.
- Trust. Is there evidence that the company is who it says? Authorship, sources, dates, consistency.
- Retrieve. Can a passage be lifted to answer a question? Answer-first pages, question coverage.
- Cite. Is the site mentioned and cited in sampled answers, and described correctly? Mention, citation and accuracy rates.
- Convert. Does AI and search visibility reach the business? AI-referral paths, analytics, leads.
Why the order matters
Each stage depends on the one before it. A page that cannot be rendered cannot be understood; a company that is not understood cannot be cited correctly. The Diagnostic reviews all six in order so fixes are ranked against each other rather than chosen by enthusiasm.
